If you are getting married then why not come along and have some lessons for your first dance. We can choreograph a first dance to any tune of your choosing.

With one-on-one tuition it is just you and the teacher which enables any small mistakes to be spotted and corrected immediately so that your progression is smoother and you will feel more confident with your dancing. Dance teacher Richard Colley (as seen on UK Style's First Dance TV programme) will gently ease you into your first steps, if you are nervous, and will patiently work with you to ensure a succesful first dance in front of all your friends and family!

 

It is a good idea to start lessons about 8 weeks in advance of your wedding day to ensure the minimum amount of panic as the big day approaches! If you can then completing a 16 week course before you take some private lessons will give you the best results, although this is not required, it is recommended so don't worry if you are unable to do this. Lessons are available at the following times and need to be booked in advance:

 

Private lessons can also be conducted in your own home or venue so there is no need to travel, all that is needed is a little bit of space to dance.

Cost: £45 per hour (please note that this is per couple)

Book 5 hours in advance for £200 (save £25) - Please note that this must be paid for in full at your first booking otherwise the standard rate will apply. We accept cash or cheque only.

Although it is difficult to assess the amount of work that you might need until you have been to a lesson, below is a rough guide to what you might expect so that you can plan in advance:

Standard dance, including a start, small routine with highlights and an ending: Approximately 5 hour lessons

Full choreographed dance with major highlights (drops, dips, spins, etc): Approximately 10 hour lessons

Full show routine for the complete extrovert! Approximately 20 hour lessons
