Elegant and beautiful, the Viennese Waltz is the classic Waltz style seen in many movies and Disney cartoons! As the name suggests it is linked to Vienna where the Aristocracy danced the Viennese Waltz to music by Strauss and other classical composers. Our 4 week course takes you through from start to finish. Whilst it is available to all levels of dancer, we do recommend that you have had some dance experience before embarking on this course as it can often require patience and perserverance! Tempo: 58-62 Bars per minute
Nowadays Viennese Waltz is still danced socially across the world, but more people now dance the 'slow' Waltz as standard.
