Tango Argentino 8 Week Course
Experience the mystery and magic of authentic Tango Argentino, the ultimate dance of man and woman.  This 8 week adult Tango course introduce you to a short routine of Tango from which you can build up with more sections if you want to or just complete one course to be able to dance Tango. Whilst these are beginner sessions, the Tango is one of the more challenging dance styles so it can require a bit of perserverance! Don't let that put you off coming, but if you experience any problems then just be assured that we all have at some point with Tango.

We guarantee that anyone that finishes this course will be able to dance, regardless of what happens between the first and last session! Designed for people that have never even stepped on to a dance floor, this introduction to the basics which will enable anyone to get up and dance. Over the course you will learn a basic routine of the Tango Argentino

Suitable for anyone of any age or fitness level. Our relaxed and informal approach to tuition ensures that even people with two left feet can manage to learn to dance. There are no acrobatic or highly energetic moves just purely social-style Latin American dancing.

All of our courses are progressive, so over the weeks we build things up, starting very, very slowly at the beginning and picking up pace as the confidence grows. There is plenty of repitition during the course so that the previous week is recapped before adding new moves so if you do miss a week you will be able to catch up so don't worry if you can't fully commit to every week of the course. We highly recommend getting to the starting week of the course, if you are unable to do this then any time within the first 2 weeks will still enable you to get going.

Learn to Dance - TangoBorn a lifetime and a half ago in the squalid gutters where hope fought despair, the Tango lost its adolescent innocence in the bordellos and tough back street bars of the Buenos Aires barrios before emerging from the shadows of its birthplace to entrance and inspire the world in the ultimate dance of man and woman.

Tango begins with an encounter as the dancers prepare to explore the potential of the moment and face fate on the dance floor. The soul touching strains of the Bandoneon, reach out through the shadows and draw them ever deeper in to the dance that is theirs alone. In Tango, the man and woman are equal. Each explores the other... feet touch. Each tests the other... as they weave intricate movements. Each may seduce... the suggestion of an embrace. Either may be seduced. The restrained passion of the Tango will never reach its ultimate conclusion for its power lies in the potential of the moment not in its fulfilment.

This is not the refined and formal sophistication of the Ballroom Tango or of Tango de Salon but the exciting, authentic, raw and original Tango of the Buenos Aires Orillas - Tango Orillero for "Esto es Tango!" - This is Tango !!
